Daring Shape: D2Line, a woman-owned fashion brand in Sofia, Bulgaria, dares to create clothing that flatters women of any age. JV is pleased to present this new atelier and its French designer, Thomas Vasseur. See the possibilities of his 1940s-influenced cap-sleeve blouse in a luxurious wrinkle-free polyester, exquisitely tailored with princess lines, petite gold buttons, and a draped cowl cape at back. Choice of navy or chartreuse. Then add the sweep of his wide legged pant. Its wide A-line cut drops gracefully from a fitted waist and hip. Fashioned from the same luxurious poly as the blouse, the pant is available in a flirty Paintbrush stripe, or a Floral in aubergine with a garden of flowers around the hem.
Daring Texture: The shaggy coats, feathers, and leather of the season promise to show off your legs (very Sex and the City). To make the look, you’ll need JV stockings. And what stockings they are, from Italian knitwear brand Pierre Mantoux. Dare to wear jacquard anklets or tights with your stilettos; and polka-dot stay ups or knee-highs with your boots. And for leather, JV presents the light touch of Zambak, a Turkish company that creates clothing of leather daisies appliquéd on black tulle.
